The selected grinding wheel is too hard;

When the grinding roller is used, the transverse feeding amount is too large, and the longitudinal cutting speed is too fast;

The grinding wheel is trimmed too fine, especially the coarse grain size (46 mesh to 80 mesh). After fine dressing, it is easy to burn the roll;

The grinding wheel is too blunt and the cutting ability is poor. It is easy to cause the roll to burn;

When grinding the roll, the cooling nozzle isn’t well placed. So the coolant cannot enter the grinding area, or the coolant supply isn’t enough.
